A teacher by profession and now semi retired,I made major life style changes three years ago after falling in love with the climate and culture of Catalonia and moved out to live and paint in the area.

Educated in Newcastle, for more than thirty years I have taught in schools, at residential courses for young adults and workshops for mature students. Most of my experience with adults has been in the painting of landscapes, town vistas and the sea.

My preference is to work through the mediums of acrylics and watercolours but as with the courses, is flexible to your needs and requirements. My more recent work has been influenced to some extent by a course in abstracts run by Newcastle College.
